Chiara is one of Econ FIlms’ creative storytellers. She has extensive subject matter expertise on issues around global policy, development and the environment having worked previously on projects for the BBC, National Geographic and The Economist. Most recently she worked on an Emmy-award winning series with Raw TV for CNN.

She is also currently developing a documentary on her grandfather and his siblings’ experience of the Japanese occupation of Malaysia during WWII, and their experiences settling into 1970s Lewisham.

Chiara works closely with our clients to understand their work and help make this accessible in a way that connects directly with audiences.
