‘A Two Way Street’

BRIEF 

To produce a film that investigates the issue that over half of the trucks that head north out of South Africa come back empty.

APPROACH

What if these trucks could be filled to bring imports to South Africa? There would be a win-win for the continent. This film follows two researchers who have studied what would happen and speaks to the people in the trucking community on the ground. 

We took the researchers on the truck journey and sought out people in the trucking community whose stories matched the insights of their research.
